BEFORE THAT TIME,DUE TO INSUFFICIENT PRODUCTION,PARAFFIN WAS IMPORTED TO THE COUNTRY.AT PRESENT TIME,THE GROWTH OF PARAFFIN INDUSTRY HAS INCREASED DRAMATICALLY IN QUALITY AND QUANTITY SO THAT,THE ISLAMIC REPUBLIC OF IRAN HAS BECOME ONE OF THE MAJOR EXPORTERS OF PARAFFIN IN THE WORLD.APPLICATION OF PARAFFIN AND PARAFFIN PRODUCTS ARE USED IN VARIOUS INDUSTRIES,SUCH AS TEXTILE,CABLE,INSULATOR,
PAINT RESIN,GLUE,WAX AND POLISH,COSMETIC AND MEDICAL PURPOSES,PAPER AND WOOD PACKAGING,MATCH MAKING,CANDLE MAKING,LUBRICANTS AND OTHERS.

Given the impotance of these products and the need for more coordination of activities of exports and other manufactured products. experts gathered in less than a decade ago and found paraffin manufactures cooperative co. of Iran.
The cooprerative goals are supplying the raw material and machinery and export of paraffin and
all other oil byproducts to increase market share in various regions and expand the share of exports in the world. |
